Look Out.
I walked into my new room anticipated to find out what my view for the next 365 days is going to be like. I look out and between the buildings, I see the river. The east river pier is a two- minute walk from my house, I see it from my window dusk and dawn. Same blue sky and water, different thoughts every time.
It's quiet there. Well, not really, you can still hear the sirens and the screams of the city but the sounds of the water takes over. You can smell the water, hear the soft waves, I can hear my thoughts, what have I done this past week?
I found these signs on 6th Avenue, SoHo and Chelsea.
Regularly spotting these iregular signs.
*walking down mulberry street*
A: I don't like spoilers, but I really want to
know where I'm going to find love.
S: Chelsea told you! Chelsea told you!
A: You'll find love where you look for it?
S: All that's good just not the subway.
And then I saw him type away...
So I wrote my own
Look out, Look in.
I sit here everyday, looking down into the rain,
The blue of the sky fades in with line,
two worlds collide in time,
makes me think of what is mine,
and who am I?
